Many people would love to go to college but, for whatever reasons, traditional timing and opportunities passed them by. Over the years, many scholarships have emerged to help people that fall into these circumstances. Some of these scholarships include awards for the disabled, and awards for single parents.
In 1990, a law was passed called the Americans with Disabilities Act. This ensured much greater access to college for people with various disabilities. Below are a few scholarships that might help people take advantage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

At least now, there are sources of help for parents trying to better their lives and the lives of their children. Below are a couple of examples of scholarships for single parents.
